Dermal fillers, Hyaluronic acid and Tensor Threads

DERMAL FILLERS based on Hyaluronic Acid are a quick, easy and with little side effects to treat all kinds of wrinkles and to recover lost facial volume. Given that this is a bioresorbable product, its effects are very natural. Plus, with modern technologies these are expected to have relatively lasting effects. Slight lip or cheekbones volume increase restore the youthfulness the face has lost over the years without visibly altering the facial features.

TENSOR THREADS Polydioxanone (PDO) is a widely-used material in surgical sutures in the human body due to its high biocompatibility and biodegradability. It is a safe material with almost no side effects and with an incredibly low risk of allergies.

Its action mechanism consists in the stimulation of fibroblasts so they increase their collagen production. Within weeks the thread is reabsorbed and once that occurs, fibroblasts stimulation persists and the increase of collagen shows for about 12-18 months resulting on a self-produced lifting effect.

Certain face tension can be immediately seen depending on the area and the previous face flaccidity. However, the maximum effect shows after 2-4 weeks.

This technique is mainly used on the face, neck, inner thighs, knees and inner arms.
